Invading Species
introduced by men
The Caulerpa Taxifolia & the Caulerpa Racemosa are two algae that were accidentally introduced by men and have now spread in the entire Mediterranean basin.

Particularly resistant and proliferous, they cover the posidoniea herbarium and destroy that source of life and equilibrium!

Observation networks have been set up and actions are lead to limit their development.

If you come across one of these algae, identify the place of observation, depth and surface covered.
